The Murrurundi Swimming Pool Life Guard motto is “Prevention = Protection”. This motto recognises our professional standards and the proactive approach used by Murrurundi Swimming Pool that aims to prevent incidents from occurring.

Life Guards must always engage with clients to maintain optimum safety. Our Life Guard Team are responsible for providing our facilities and customers a comprehensively safe and friendly environment.

Experience and qualifications are not always necessary, as for the right candidate, this will be provided by Murrurundi Swimming Pool

Essential Criteria

  • Pool Lifeguard Award
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Working with Children Check

Additional Information

  • Life Guards are required to work a rotating roster – over 7 days
  • Preference will be provided to those willing to develop a career across more than one facet of the industry. E.G: Life Guard + Swim Teacher / Life Guard + Fitness Instructor / Life Guard + Pool Operations
  • Staff are provided free use of facilities + discounts
